Bandits attack President Buharis Convoy In Katsina

The advance team to Daura ahead of President Buhari’s visit to the town for Eidul-Kabir celebration was on tuesday ambushed.

The incident, which took place near Dutsinma, Katsina State, was however repelled by security personnel in the convoy.

A statement by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, says two members of the team sustained minor injury, and are receiving treatment.

The Presidency describes as sad and unwelcome, the ambush, but it is delighted that the team made it to Daura safely afterwards.
