Airlifting of Nigerian pilgrims back home begins

A report just in says the airlift of Nigerians from Saudi Arabia has started with 423 FCT pilgrims.

The flight XY7002 departed the King Abdul’azeez International Airport Jeddah for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport a while ago.

The Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, Alhaji Zikrullah Kunle Hassan during the post-Arafat meeting in Makkah solicited the cooperation of stakeholders toward a hitch-free airlift.

He also gave an assurance that the exercise would be on a first in first out basis.

Over forty thousand Nigerians are awaiting their departure back home after the completion of this year’s Hajj.
