The Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the discharge of twenty-one patients from the Lagos isolation centers.
The discharged cases, four females and seventeen males have tested negative twice to the deadly virus and have been allowed to reunite with their various families.
The Governor advised Lagosians that this good news should not make then throw caution to the wind but should rather strenghten their resolve to collectively reduce the spread of the virus by doing all that the experts have advised and never move around without a face mask.
Dear Lagosians, I come bearing good news. Today, 21 #COVID19 patients; 4 females and 17 males, all Nigerians have been discharged from our isolation facilities to reunite with the society.
We remain committed towards strengthening our capacity in combating the pandemic and I want to thank our frontline medical and emergency workers for their amazing sacrifice. We will beat this. But everyone must do their part. Stay safe and #TakeResponsibility.
