Suspected thugs invade Atikus campaigners residence in Rivers

Suspected political thugs on Thursday morning invaded the residence of the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State, Senator Lee Maeba in the GRA, Phase 3 axis of Port Harcourt.

It was gathered that the hoodlums, numbering over 200, emerged from a nearby street, shot at the entrance of the house and eventually broke into the former Senator’s compound.

They were said to have destroyed about five cars while three persons in the compound, including Senator Maeba’s relations, scampered to safety.
