Adebule inaugurates Campaign Winning Team

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos West Senatorial District candidate, Dr. Idiat Adebule, has inaugurated members of her campaign team.

Tagged the ‘Winning Team,’ they were unveiled and presented certificates of membership at the Lagos West campaign office in Ikeja GRA, Lagos.

Some leaders of the team include Director-General Ikeja Division, Saka Fafunmi; Deputy Director-General Badagry Division, Abayomi Sodiq; Director of Women Affairs Iyabo Obasa; Assistant Director of Women Affairs, Risikat Hassan; Director of Youths Saheed Akanbi and Jamiu Ademosu as his assistant.

Adebule said some of them had hit the ground running with wonderful and marvellous work done so far.

She said: “It has been a long and tortuous journey since I won the primary of our great party in May. Ever since, it has been a chain of intense activities with much milestone political mileage covered. And to attest to that fact was the composition of the campaign council, which we are formally inaugurating today.

“The essence of today’s event is to officially unveil my able and dedicated campaign members… In fact, I am delighted to inform you that the spirit of cooperation has characterised our campaign council. For others, all I can say is for you to see yourself as an integral part of this noble course. It is imperative for you to take ownership of this project.

“Let it be an unshaken commitment of a conscious stakeholder whose contribution sustains the growth of the moving train. Let me assure you that we are on course and we will collectively chart a new course; the one that gives stronger hope for Lagos and Nigeria. Together, we will work to create pathways and opportunities for our Lagos West Senatorial District. Therefore, we are here to sensitise ourselves to understand teamwork and the work culture. And if that is well taken, then the mission will be accomplished.”

Adebule thanked her backroom workers for their dedication.

The Director-General, Adebule Independent Campaign Council, Mr. Rasaq Ajala, thanked Dr. Adebule and assured her that the team would ensure a resounding victory for the party in the 2023 elections.

Ajala, the Secretary-General of Conference 57 and Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, said the campaign would be devoid of violence.

He said: “It will be based on issues that will bring the much-needed progress to our country, and contribute to the greater good of our people, most especially the ones at the lowest level of the ladder.”
