Ex-CoS mobilises 2,000 canvassers for Tinubu

Aformer Chief of Staff (CoS) to Lagos State Governor, Otunba Olukunle Ojo, has urged progressive-minded Nigerians to intensify efforts at mobilising voters for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other party’s candidates, ahead of the general election.

He spoke yesterday in Lagos while addressing the 2,000 canvassers he engaged to mobilise support for the APC candidates.

Ojo said: “This is my way of showing support and contributing to the electoral success of the party, especially for a man I believe is a democrat and has fought for the democracy all of us are enjoying today. There is no doubt that he insists on the rule of law, equity and justice and has governed the most productive, excellent and nucleus state in the country.”

He said the time had come for Asiwaju Tinubu to realise his life time ambition of becoming the president of Nigeria, hence the need to rally round and support him, as well as other APC candidates in the general election.

The Coordinator of the foot soldiers and Southwest Regional Head, Elder Kayode Cornelius, hailed the financier and sponsor of the group, Otunba Ojo, for his generosity and support for Asiwaju Tinubu, whose ideas 24 years ago, “is driving today’s Lagos.”

“Asiwaju Tinubu is a national icon, loved by the masses, respected by the political class. Tinubu is a household name. From the North to the South, on his mandate we stand. We are glad to work for him to assist him realise his ambition.”
