Popular Nigeria-based American radio show host Dan Foster has died -prompting an outpouring of tributes to him on social media.
Popularly known as “Big Dawg”, Foster moved to Nigeria from the US in 2000 - and he has dominated the West African nation's morning FM airwaves since.
His wife Lovina told Nigeria’s Channels TV that he had tested positive for Covid-19 earlier in the week.
He accrued numerous gongs over the years, including the Nigeria Media Merit Awards for best radio personality in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
He was also a judge on several reality TV shows.
