Military kills scores of terrorists in air raid

SCORES of terrorists have been killed in Kamace in Kazai ward and Tsohon Kabula village in Munya Local Government Area of Niger State.

More than 20 abducted persons who were abducted from Adunu and Beni communities by the terrorists also escaped from their abductors during the military onslaught on the terrorists.

The incident occurred on Friday, a day after terrorists killed eight security personnel in Igu village in Munya Local Government Area.

A source close to Kamace village said that the air raid was done in two different locations.

According to him, the first group of the terrorists was trying to take cover at the Kamace Primary School when the air raid met them while the second group was killed when they went to recover the bodies of their colleagues.

The source said that the raid left the bodies of the terrorists mutilated as different body parts could be seen littering the bush.

The Niger State Commissioner for Internal Security and Humanitarian Affairs, Emmanuel Umar, confirmed the air raid but declined to give further information.
