Saving life: Doctors in Kisii Forced to Medically Castrate Pupil Beaten by Teacher

A Grade 8 pupil from Bitundugusu Primary School is recuperating following a life-saving procedure in Kisii.

The young pupil underwent surgery to remove his testicles following a beating by teachers in the school that left his reproductive organs swollen.

Police in Nyamira confirmed the incident stating that the boy's mother had filed an assault report following the incident in school.

Nyamira police boss James Mitugo said they had commenced investigations into the matter.

"We have the case, and we are pursuing it," Mitugo said.

The teenager was first taken to Getare Dispensary where medics observed he was in pain after being beaten by his teachers on Friday, March 24.
