First flight with number 5N-PAZ has arrived at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, one year after closure.
The flight 5N-PAZ landed at the renovated and expanded runway of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on Saturday at 4:45pm (Local time).
It carried the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and renowned philanthropist and business man, Prince Arthur Eze as well as their entourage.

The airport which would be reopened on 30th August, had been shut down for renovation for over one year now.
Addressing newsmen at the airport terminal, Sirika, said that ”the date set for reopening of the newly renovated runway remains sacrosanct.”
The Minister had been in Enugu for the past few days, in readiness for the official reopening of the airport on Sunday August 30.
