Nigeria's coronavirus death toll hits 1,100

According to Nigeria centre for disease control the Total number of infections is  57,437 (11.9% of those tested), 7,663 active cases (13% of positive cases)  recoveries now 48,674 (85% of positive cases) and 1100 deaths (2% of the positive cases)

The country confirmed 195 new cases on the 21st day of september, 2020 and 2 deaths.

Lagos state has remained the highest in the number of reported cases (18,982) , active cases (3531), 15246 discharged and deaths (202).

FCT is in a distant 2nd position with a total nunmber of reported cases -5,566, active cases- 569, discharged cases-4921 and 74 deaths.

FCT Abuja is followed by Plateau state with a total number of reported cases - 3254, active cases- 819, discharged cases- 2404 and 31 deaths

Closely following is Oyo state with a total number of reported cases- 3231,  active cases- 990, discharged cases- 2202 and  39 deaths

On the fifth position is Edo state with a total number of reported cases-2512, active cases- 78 , discharged cases- 2427 and 107 deaths.

In Africa Nigeria is among the 5 countries that has the highest number of reported cases.
