No fewer than 4,489 applications have been received at the close of applications for vacant positions at the Federal Polytechnic, Bali in Taraba State.

This was disclosed by the Rector of the Institution, Dr Mohammed Usman while briefing the Governing Council of the institution at its 5th meeting held at the Rector’s Conference Room in Bali, the administrative headquarters of Bali Local Government Area of the state.

Recall that the institution advertised the vacant positions in compliance with the law in the Daily Trust and Punch Newspapers on 2nd July 2025 and applications closed on 13th August, 2025.

The rector explained that the next phase would be the shortlisting, stressing that suitable candidates would be invited for interview.

The shortlisted applicants will be communicated on the date for interview via their respective addresses or phone contact as provided by the candidates, the rector explained.

The council commended the management for operating in line with the Federal Ministry of Education and the institution’s guidelines.
