Arsenal 2-1 Tottenham recap: Lamela sent off after Lacazette scores winner

Arsenal triumphed over rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby, with Alexandre Lacazette scoring the winner from the penalty spot.

Arsenal emerged victorious in the North London derby, beating rivals Tottenham Hotspur 2-1.

Erik Lamela had a drama-filled game after he replaced an injured Heung-min Son in the first-half. The 29-year-old gave Spurs the lead with an outstanding rabona strike but he was sent off in the second-half for two bookable offences.

Martin Odegaard equalised for Arsenal on the stroke of half-time, with his shot taking a deflection off Toby Alderweireld and beating Hugo Lloris.

Alexandre Lacazette then scored the winner from the penalty spot after he was fouled by Davinson Sanchez.
