Abia state governor releases funds for salary arrears owed workers

GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

JUBILATION IN ABIA AS GOVERNOR OKEZIE VICTOR IKPEAZU RELEASES FUNDS FOR THE PAYMENT OF WORKERS IN VARIOUS PARASTATALS!

The Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has authorized the payment of 

N828 million for the payment of the salary arrears of Abia Health Management Board Workers.

The sum of N983 million for the salary arrears of Secondary School Teachers.

12 months arrears for Abia State College of Education Technical, Arochukwu ACETA.

4 months subvention for Abia State Polytechnic.

N520 million for Abia Pensioners.

2 months subvention for ABSUTH.

Abia State University got 3 months Subvention.

College of Health Technology got 5 months subvention and N200 million. Grant to facilitate relocation to permanent site.

These payments commenced on Thursday last week.
The management of the various Parastatals captured above are advised to always ensure strict compliance and pay the workers accordingly.
