On the 8th day of April, 2020, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC. reported 22 new cases of COVID-19
Fifteen of the twenty-two cases reported on the 8th of April, 2020 are in Lagos state, four in FCT, two in Bauchi state and one in Edo state.
Till date the total number of reported confirmed cases of the disease in Nigeria is 276.
224 active cases, 44 discharged and 6 deaths.
All new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently being taken care of
