COVID-19 death has been reported from Delta state on the 9th day of April, 2020, by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.while also reporting 14 new confirmed cases of the deadly virus,.
Thirteen of the fourteen cases reported on the 9th of April, 2020 are in Lagos state and one in Delta state.
Till date the total number of reported confirmed cases of the disease in Nigeria is 288, 230 active cases, 51 discharged and 7 deaths.
All new cases have mild to moderate symptoms and are currently being taken care of
