There is a discord in the Manchester United dressing room after the club offered Paul Pogba a new contract worth £500,000-a-week, reports the Daily Mirror.
United are facing 'dressing room backlash' over potentially making Pogba one of the - if not the most - highest-paid players in the Premier League.
Several players 'do not feel Pogba is worthy' of such a huge contract, considering how infrequently he plays and the fact that he always bad-mouths the club publicly.
The Frenchman is in talks with PSG over a free transfer, with his family also believed to be keen on moving to Paris.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Some of the players think it’s out of order he could be getting twice as much as they’re when he hardly starts a game and talks about leaving all the time."
For context, Harry Maguire - the captain - earns £200,000-a-week while Bruno Fernandes recently received a pay hike to pocket £250,000-a-week.
Only Cristiano Ronaldo earns roughly the same amount that Pogba could potentially receive.
The Daily Mirror adds that if Pogba accepts the offer, it could lead to a 'mutiny' among the rest of the players. There are many who play more often than Pogba and are genuinely committed to the club but earn half of that.
